CARVE-IT -- Set-up and Materials

We started setting up for the "CARVE IT" event at HECHO A MANO gallery in Santa Fe, about 4 o'clock the day of the event, September 14, 2024:

MATERIALS

• We printed with Speedball Professional SuperGraphic Black relief ink
• Karl brought Rives BFK Lightweight White paper
• Karl brought the Sizzix Big Shot Plus embossing press to make linoleum prints on 8x8 inch paper
• Julie brought the Jack Richeson baby press
• Both Karl and Julie brought their Abusa Adjustable Tortilla Presses
• We made the Tessellation Prints on Kitakata paper
• We hand printed the Tessellation Prints with both the Iron Frog Glass Baren, and the Estampador Manual
• Anna and Amy both brought their Woodzilla Presses
• Amy brought her PENTABAREN hand press
• We buy our linoleum at TAKACH PRESS

Karl Whitaker drove in from Albuquerque, and unloaded his car with all the printmaking materials needed for the evening:

5 boxes, two tables and three portfolios

of materials for the printing event
