2022
Last Year

We also made prints during the vendor fair last year in Santa Fe -- known as PRINTED MATTERS, on July 10th, 2022:

Collaborations -- at PRINTERS PLANET

We made collaborative prints with other vendors at The PRINTERS PLANET Festival event in the Santa Fe Railyard on August 13th 2023:

CHAUNCY FOSTER

We printed on the handmade paper from Chauncy Foster:

We printed John Tollett's "Javalina" linocut
on Chauncy Foster's handmade paper

Chauncy was making paper
during the vendor market

Virgil printing on handmade paper
with a REAL Tortilla Press

The print came out beautifully

on his handmade paper

We also printed one of Virgil Velasco prints
on Chauncy's handmade paper

CORONA

We passed out some round linoleum pieces during the vendor market, and Mr. Corona carved into one of them:

So we inked and printed it on the REAL Tortilla Press:

It was so exciting that someone carved linoleum in real time that we printed on Chauncy's handmade paper:

We even framed the Corona print:

Isabel Winson Sagan was marbling paper at the vendor market:

She was also selling 3D printed print barens for $10, so we bought one and used it for our Tortilla Press demos:

We also printed on one of their marble paper sheets:

Printing with a REAL Tortilla Press:

The final print -- the dog was generated by AI and laser engraved into linoleum:

and

Amy Flowers and Jan Riley were making small Gelli prints in color:

Then Virgil Velasco printed one of his small linocuts on a couple of Gelli prints:

ANNA ARAGON

Anna Aragon was making "Subway" prints, so called because she was making them as fast as they make "Subway sandwiches":

Anna's print setup:

Anna signing some of the "Subway" prints that she made:

Anna then came over and used our Tortilla Press to print John Tollett's "Javalina" linocut on one of her prints:

Malcolm King took some of the t-shirts that he made to the live silk screeners at the vendors market, and added

about to add a design to the back of one of his t-shirts

Malcolm King added to his t-shirt with a Global Commons design:

Malcolm King also collaborated with Saba:

Saba printed over the top lettering

John Tollett drew into expanded PVC foam with ballpoint pens, and brought that plate to be printed:

We inked up the plate at the vendor's market:

And we printed the 6x6 inch square plate on the REAL Tortilla Press.  The plate was too big for the Tortilla Press and missed the corners, but it really didn't come out too bad:

John drew his image with two different ballpoint pens, apparently of two different sizes.  That allowed for two different pen widths, giving the plate some nice variation in line.  That was kinda genius:

Two different ballpoint pens
delivered two different line widths
