Aprons -- Tessellation Prints

We printed a couple of tessellation linocuts on aprons (from Joann's) during the drawing group at Henry Morales' studio on August 27, 2024:

We printed with Gamblin Textile Ink (formerly Drive By Black ink). Unlike the Speedball water-miscible oil inks we use to print on paper, this textile ink is thick and does not wash off one's hands easily:

The first print was by Henry Morales:

Henry printed with his feet -- using a Fezibo standing anti-fatigue board:

Then we printed an apron with Ellie Weadock's tessellation tile:

It probably would be easier to print, and clean, with a hard brayer -- like this ESSDEE Ink Roller 3.94 Inch - Heavy Duty EPDM 70 Shore Hard Rubber Surface Brayer
