REMARQUE OPEN HOUSE -- Big Tessellations and Dentonography

During Remarque Print Workshop's OPEN HOUSE on November 2, 2025 -- we continued making prints from the large EXQUISITE TESSELLATION linocuts that we used for big collaborative Steamroller Prints during the recent Southwest Print Fiesta in Silver City.  We also made a print from a plate "etched" by explosives with Dentonography:

BIG TESSELLATION PRINTS

We reprinted some of the big EXQUISITE TESSELLATION linocuts that we originally printed with a steamroller, during the Southwest Print Fiesta 2025 in Silver City, NM. The initial idea was to print two big tessellation linocuts on a 22x30 inch piece of paper:

DENTONOGRAPHY

Chris Cherry gave us a bronze plate that was created by Dentonography -- a process pioneered by Evelyn Rosenberg, using explosions to etch an image into bronze. Holland Hardie printed the plate with the intaglio method, and got a fairly nice result using Prussian Blue pigment:

There were two other Open Houses this year (2025) at Remarque Print Workshop:
