Visitors made their own tessellation prints during the opening. They drew/gouged into stiff foam (expanded PVC) with a ballpoint pen to create the design. Then Aron Venegas inked the tiles up and printed them on the press:

We had created the curvy tessellation shape online -- with the Interactive APERIODIC MONOTILE generator. Then we cut the shapes out of stiff foam with the CNC machine at Quelab makerspace in Albuquerque (where we had done this previously):
