Guerilla Tessellation Print -- at the South Broadway Cultural Center

On  June 14, 2024, we pulled our first legitimate EXQUISITE TESSELLATION PRINT during the opening at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque for the POST COVID BOMB exhibition:

NOTE:  Our BIG INK collaborative print (as seen in the background) was hung for the POST COVID BOMB exhibition.

ARTISTS:

We printed "guerilla style" -- that is we just brought in our supplies and printed in the corner during the opening, unannounced (however we did let the curator Augustine Romero know):

INKING

Inking Bobby Orr's linocut

We covered a Masonite board with clear vinyl from Joann's.  Since the vinyl is rubbery, it should hold the separate linocuts in place when making a print -- that is, the lincuts should not slip and give a fuzzy image on the paper.  Also it is easy to clean ink off the clear vinyl:

FRAMING

We framed the EXQUISITE TESSELLATION PRINT in a 16x20 inch frame from Walmart, but we had to trim the Kitakata paper to make it fit:

We had to cut down the Kitakata paper

It's important to exhibit the prints eventually.
