BUCKET EXHIBITIONS: Quick Tessellation -- SWPF 2025 -- PART 1

PART 1

During the workshop at FUTURE FORGE Makerspace in Silver City on Friday, October 10th, 2025 --visitors gouged a design with ball point pens, into curvy tessellation foam tiles. Then we printed them on an adjustable Tortilla Press (like this):

We first CNCed these curvy tessellation shapes at Quelab in Albuquerque from Expanded PVC Foam. They are six inches at the widest:

THE PRINTS

Photos of most of the prints that visitors made. Apparently 52 people came to the workshop. 30 print masterpieces are shown below:

The idea was to make big collaborative tessellation prints, but the workshop was too busy to get to that. The UNM printmaking department however did get to make a big collaborative tessellation print:
