PAVEL ACEVEDO in Albuquerque -- Summary

PAVEL ACEVEDO came to the University of New Mexico to give workshops and print with the community from September 30th to October 5th, 2024, as part of the exhibition -- Oaxaca Ingobernable: Aesthetics, Politics, and Art from Below -- sponsored by the Chicano Studies Department.
Then he returned to Albuquerque on October 14th with Daniel Gonzalez on their Sendero Grafico tour:

The Phenom of Pavel raised the enthusiasm for printmaking again when he was in Albuquerque.  Now we have to keep that printmaking momentum going.

A big THANK YOU to GUSTAVO GARCIA and NATALIA TOSCANO for curating the Oaxaca print exhibition and bringing Pavel to Albuquerque!
