This ALBU-BRIJE Print Project was inspired by the 8 huge ALBRIJE Sculptures from Oaxaca -- that were displayed in downtown Albuquerque from June 1st -- July 22nd, 2026. 

ALBU-BRIJES -- Alebrijes & Prints

ALEBRIJE Sculptures were invented in Mexico City in 1936 by Pedro Linares, after the chimera visions he had during an illness -- which were collected by Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo.
