SUMMARY -- The PRINTERS PLANET in Albuquerque, May 2024

The PRINTERS PLANET came to Albuquerque on May 25, 2024 -- at FUSION in the downtown area -- 10 AM to 4 PM.  Print vendors set up their tents and tables in the parking lot, and the demos and workshops happened inside:

The printmakers were invited to an afterparty at the new Remarque Print Workshop location (formerly Tortuga Gallery). It's always great to celebrate a printmaking event Oaxaca style, with good mezcal:

Back in February at Quelab, Brian brought the LEGO press he made to pull LEGO prints:



  • I also heard about the PRIXEL kit at the workshop (Instagram), which is a similar idea to LEGO printmaking.

We printed indoors with a TORTILLA PRESS and BIG SHOT SIZZIX press on 8x8 inch paper during The PRINTERS PLANET market in Albuquerque on May 25, 2024:
