PRINT SANTA FE -- Summary 2023

PRINT SANTA FE  -- during the month of April 2023 we exhibited some prints, made some prints live, collected more BUCKET PRINTS, and mingled with printmakers from all over the country, during the month of April 2023:

**  A BUCKET of 13 prints is hanging in the gallery of the Fine Arts Center at the , from the middle of April to the end of May, 2023:



**  We did some live printmaking on the Tortilla Press at Hecho A Mano gallery on Canyon Road, during the opening of the MiniPrint exhibition, on April 29th, 2023:



**  Xavier Moreno of 3 Gatos Press in Guadalajara sent an image in email, which we then laser engraved into linoleum in Albuquerque, and finally printed on the Tortilla Press and handed out to visitors in front of Hecho A Mano gallery.  We also "borrowed" the Tortilla Press idea from 3 Gatos Press:



**  The main event was the Fistful of Prints Art Market on April 28th - 30th, when printmakers from all over the United States came to sell their prints at CCA -- Los Angeles, Spokane, Colorado, Oklahoma, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Missouri, Chicago, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Philadelphia, New York and of course Albuquerque and Santa Fe:





**  Tom Huck gave a talk at Black Rock Editions in Santa Fe on April 27th:



**  Enrique Flores of Oaxaca had a print show at Hecho Gallery, and gave a talk the day after the opening, on April 8th:



**  In Albuquerque the "Nexo Entre Raices" print exhibition opened at the National Hispanic Cultural Center on April 21st, and will be up until September 10th, 2023:


**  The 2023 Monothon was hung at the Santa Fe Community Gallery, from April 22nd to May 26th:



**  Tim Pauszek gave a relief print workshop at Santa Fe Artisans art store on April 7th:



**  While this blogger did not make it to Dennis McNett's Wolfbat Procession at the Container Gallery in Santa Fe on April 29th, Raye Leith did send pictures of this event:
