North Fourth Art Center -- Print Exhibition SUMMARY

We hung 88 framed 8x8 inch prints in Albuquerque at the NORTH FOURTH ART CENTER for their final exhibition -- DECK THE WALLS -- before the center closed permanently. The show ran from November 10 - December 30, 2023:

THE EXHIBITION

As part of the bigger "DECK THE WALLS" exhibition at the NORTH FOURTH ART CENTER in Albuquerque, we hung 88 framed prints from -- Albuquerque, Santa Fe, El Paso, Tucson, Mexico and elsewhere. The big opening was on November 10, 2023:

HANGING THE SHOW

On October 23, 2023 we loaded up 13 small buckets and two large coolers, filled with framed prints, into a Honda Fit. Then we hung the show:

THE OPENING

On November 10, 2023 we were part of the huge opening for DECK THE WALLS at the NORTH FOURTH ART CENTER. The event was crowded as

On January 3, 2024 we took down all the prints from the NORTH FOURTH ART CENTER. We took them out of the frames and put them into two 8x8 inch scrapbooks. The scrapbooks makes it sooooo much easier to

First Friday -- Deck The Walls

The second reception on December 1, 2023, at the North Fourth Art Center -- for the "Deck the Walls"-- was more subdued than the big opening on November 10, 2023, but still a lot of fun:

We did not use the Sizzix Big Shot at the opening, but had tried printing with it the night before at Quelab and it worked nicely. The Sizzix Big Shot Plus will accommodate a 9 inch piece of paper, so we are ordering one of those:
